Oticon ConnectLine Microphone

Description

This sleek microphone is part of the ConnectLine family from Oticon, which aims to better the lives of those with the communication difficulties associated with hearing loss. The ConnectLine Microphone works with the Streamer Pro (sold separately) to transmit the voice of the microphone wearer directly into your hearing aids. This will improve the signal-to-noise ratio for easier comprehension of the voice you want to hear.

There are many applications for this excellent piece of tech. Do you or your partner struggle with conversation in busy restaurants? Business meetings going awry? Are coffee meetups becoming stressful to endure? Then this could be the perfect gadget for you and your Oticon Streamer Pro-compatible hearing aids.

Charging:

The device is charged from the mains and will reach full capacity in 1.5 hours. A full charge will give around 5 hours of usage. A constant red light will show from the power light when usage time left is fewer than 20 minutes.

Using the Microphone:

• To use the device, it must first be paired with the Streamer Pro (sold separately) which can be done following the simple set-up guide in the included manual. This will only need to be done once.
• The hearing aid user wears the Streamer Pro and their conversation partner will either clip the Microphone to their clothing or wear it on a label around their neck.
• To get the most out of your device, the microphone should be within 10-20cm of the wearer’s mouth and should always point towards it.
  
• When both devices are switched on and in range (up to 15m, depending on physical obstructions) they will automatically connect if previously paired.
