Description

This Roger X Receiver is TYPE 02. It is, therefore, designed for educational Roger compatibility with Roger Touch Screen Mic, Soundfield Speaker & Roger Pens with “02” programming.

Connect Roger X with a Roger wireless microphone to bring industry-leading speech-in-noise performance to any person with a moderately severe to profound hearing loss. As a result, the X receiver is particularly helpful for students that have difficulty understanding their lecturers.

How to use:

Each X receiver is installed onto your hearing aid using the appropriate Audio Shoe for your hearing aid. We recommend this fitting service to be completed by a trained audiologist as they may also require to enable the Roger programming into your hearing aids for you.

How to correctly insert the Roger X Receiver

The video below demonstrates how you should install a Roger X receiver on your hearing aid.

Compatibility:

The Roger X receiver is a miniature receiver that is compatible with virtually every hearing instrument and cochlear implant on the market. That said, it is important to note those gadgets which it renders your hearing device to be compatible with:

  • Roger Touchscreen Mic
  • Roger Pen
  • Roger EasyPen
  • Roger Clip-On Mic
  • Roger Table Mic

No fitting action in Target is required for all hearing instruments featuring RogerReady.

Hearing aid and cochlear implant sound processors must be programmed for FM. The installation process can be carried out by your audiologist or your cochlear implant centre.
However, if your hearing aid does not feature a Direct Audio Input (DAI) socket you will require an ‘Audio Shoe’ adaptor to connect the Roger X to your hearing aid. The make and model of your hearing aid determine which particular audio shoe you will require. Do note, though, that the Streamer must have a Direct Audio input socket.
