Phonak Naida L-PR hearing aids are behind-the-ear (BTE) models designed for mild to moderately severe hearing loss. Regular cleaning and maintenance will extend their lifespan and ensure optimal performance:
SlimTubes and Domes
- Detach the slim tube from the hearing aid and run a cleaning wire through it to clear debris.
- Remove the dome and clean it with a specialised hearing aid cleaning cup and tablet or a damp cloth. Dry completely before reattaching.
Ear Hook and Ear Mould
- For users with ear moulds, clean them with warm, soapy water and let them dry thoroughly before reconnecting to the ear hook.
- Clean the ear hook using a soft, dry cloth to remove oils and dirt.
Hearing Aid Body
- Gently wipe the hearing aid body with cleaning wipes designed for hearing aids. Avoid using water or household cleaners.
Storage
- When not in use, store your hearing aids in a clean, dry case. For extra protection, consider using a drying box or dehumidifier to eliminate moisture.
